The Worrying Tree takes readers through the spiritual growth of Oaky the Oak tree as he advises Wally the Walnut tree who is afraid she won’t become big and strong. Leafy the Mulberry Bush asks the tree everyone looks up to, Oaky how he became the tree he is today. Oaky shares stories of how he learned to become strong and tall by listening to the old priest who would go through the forest to practice his sermons. In the final pages there is an activity section based on the story.
